Our last wedding of 2007 was absolutely amazing!  We had this fun-loving, energetic couple that did nothing but make us laugh the whole time.  Amy and Steve were married on Dec 29th 2007.  Their was not a detail missed.  Amy’s veil had a K embroidered into it to represent the new last name she was about to take.  Their cupcake cake was fantastic, with the letters K.  They were yummy too!!!  Aaron and I were privileged to shoot this wedding and have such a wonderful day with Amy & Steve, their family and friends.

Here is a few favorites from the day.

My wonderful sister-in-law purchased a good friend of hers, Melanie,  a portrait package as a gift for her baby shower.  When Jackson was born,  Melanie was super excited, as were we to do their family portraits.  We had one slight problem though; Everytime we would set a date, it would rain!  So for months, Melanie and I put off their portrait date.  Finally, late into the summer, we had a date where it did not rain!  What a miracle!!!!!

Jackson is a super adorable baby as you can see!  Melanie and Ryan are such a good looking couple that I just love their pictures.

On September 29th, 2007, Aaron and I photographed Nicole and Chris’s wedding.  These two were so hilarious!   I have never laughed so much photographing a wedding.  These two were so down to earth that the pictures came naturally.  Nicole had the most beautiful dress and she looked absolutely amazing in it.  Here are a few of our favorites from that day.

Two of the ladies…

They had a pink themed wedding and Chris managed to find a pink Hummer limo.  How cool!!!

During the summer of 2007, I had the opportunity to witness the birth of my dog, Peanuts,  puppies.  It was an amazing experience as I have never witnessed the birth of puppies before.  She was a brave little one and managed to have 3 little blond females and 1 brown male.  We were blessed as all were healthy and happy little creatures.  Since then they have grown and moved on to wonderful homes, but I wanted to share with you the images that we had of these adorable little puppies.

For all thoes whom are wondering what type of dog she is, she’s a Pom/Yorkie mix.  Of course she’s the most amazing dog and we love her to pieces!

Last summer we had the opportunity to photograph an amazing couple, Cassie & Wes.  Wes worked with Aaron, so they knew each other fairly well.  It was great because they were not at all nervous and the photos reflect that!  We started downtown Chatham Ontario, taking some casual pictures and ended up on the beach at lake Erie.  The sun was going down at the end of the shoot so the colours are absolutely amazing.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from 2007!

These two were such great sports about getting wet and full of sand!

Have you made a New Years resolution?  This year I have decided to do something special for myself at least once a week.  I feel that often when we are so busy we forget to take care of ourselves.  So I’m going to make it a priority to try and do a little something for myself once a week.  What’s your resolution?
